Customer Review: Good tool...if you want a miniature boat anchor!!!

This is for sale for $3.94, which is just about $3.94 too much! This tool is typical in a long line of worthless Stanley tools. I bought one of these because they 'claimed' it was easy to switch the blades. In the past, you had to unscrew the two pieces, retreive a hidden blade, position the blade in the track, reassemble the two pieces, screw it together and hope for the best. Usually, something would happen and the blade would bind and it would take two or three attempts to get it to work. This knife was advertised ad easy to change...which it is not! I will admit the the knife is comfortable and the hidden blades are easy to retrieve (once you figure out the almost hidden button), but changing them is impossible. My knife came with one blade installed, so it worked fine until it dulled. I fiddled with it, trying to figure out how to remove the blade and discovered the yellow button was the key. Removal is not too hard, but a new blade will not go back in. I even went as far as to go to Stanley's webwsite as look for advice/instructions (if I got instructions, they were lost long before I required changing blades). They had an intereactive page that I thought would have show how to change...no, it only told that you COULD change blades with a push of a button, no HOW to change blades. I 'googled' this knife and found many similary complaints, so I'm not alone. There has to be a good utilty knife out there, this one just isn't it. In about 5 more minutes I am going to throw this one in the trash and go to Sear's or Lowe's and look for a GOOD knife that is EASY to operate AND maintain!
