Description of Stanley 16-901 900 Series Wood Chisel Set, 6-Piece

One-length, short-series blades are made of high-quality Sheffield steel for exceptional strength and control. Hardened and tempered to 58-60HRC for outstanding cutting edge durability and electrophoretic lacquered for corrosion protection. Sizes are etched into each precision-ground blade. Impact- and shatter-resistant handles are made of durable cellulose acetate, each with a steel striking cap to withstand steel hammer blows. Limited lifetime warranty.
The Stanley 900 Series Wood Chisel Set includes 6 chisels: 1/4-inch, 1/2-inch, 3/4-inch, 1-inch, 1-1/4-inch, and 1-1/2-inch sizes. Each blade is forged from high-quality cutlery grade steel and is heat treated, beveled, and polished with identification on handle for quick selection. They include heavy-duty strike caps crowned for centering blows and durability.
